What is Postural Therapy?
Our bodies are very smart and figure out a way to keep us upright and moving. That’s the good news, the not so good news is the body will compensate by using the wrong muscles or changing the position of the bones by shortening and tightening some muscle, while leaving others weak and loose. When this occurs, we will begin to experience some pain and if left long enough with additional physical stress, injury occurs.
To help you become pain free we need to assess your posture.
As you can see in the 2 figures, this is optimum postural alignment. We started this way, however life happens, and we begin to look and feel different.
To make the desired changes necessary to become pain free we must assess your posture and design a program for your unique postural needs. Each program contains a pdf and video to support doing your exercises at home or office. We will lead you through each exercise teaching you how to do it properly along with all your pdf and video support you can access on your smart phone, tablet and PC.
